Guard your Speech...

Guard your Speech
The bible tells us to guard our heart, but how do we do that? A great place to start is by guarding your words. You will feel better about yourself if you pay careful attention to the things you say. The bible is full of verses that instruct us to bridle our tongues.

So, rid yourselves of all evil, all lying, hypocrisy, jealous, and evil speech. As newborn babies want milk, you should want the pure and simply teaching. By it you can grow up and be saved.
1 Peter2:1-2

Be gracious in your speech. The goal is to bring out the best in others in a conversation, not put them down, not cut them out.   Colossians 4:6

If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue, he deceives himself and his religion is worthless.   James 1:26

Have a blessed and uplifted day, my friend. May there always be Shalom in your heart and in your home.
